Wednesday 3rd June

Good Morning Year 2 - this morning you will need to go to Class Story on Class Dojo to listen to a story.

1. The Daily Three – Maths

Mental Maths:  NUMBOTS:

This week I am setting you a challenge:  Have a go at moving up a level this week.  Remember to have your user name and password ready.  It is in home school pack and in the cover of your blue Home School book.

TIME:  Backwards and Forwards

We have now learnt about telling the time in different ways now I would like you to think about the passage of time.

If it is 9 o’clock now what time will it be in one hour?

If it is half past 8 now what time will it be in 30 minutes?

If it is quarter past 7 now what time will it be in 15 minutes?

If it is 2 o’clock what time was it 3 hours ago?

If it is half past 10 now what time was it one hour ago?

If it is quarter past 5 now what time as it 45 minutes ago?

To help you have a go with your adult at playing with our online clock.  You can ask one question and your adult can ask the next one.

This is a real challenge because it will show you if you really understand the passing of time on a clock.

Once you have done this, have a go at choosing 5 of the “Time – Backwards and Forwards” challenge cards.  I would love to see what you have done and how you have found it.

They are at the bottom of the page!
