1. The Daily Three - Maths

Using the number cards that you have made, put them in the right order. If your child struggles with this activity, try it in two steps over the next few days:

 

a) Order a smaller amount of cards e.g. 10-13 and then build upon that.

b) Teach them to go back and count from 10 (so if they get stuck on 15 and are not sure what comes next, go back to 10 and count on again).

  

 

2. The Daily Three - Literacy / phonics

Today we are going to consolidate 'sh' and 'ch'. Make two posters, one for each digraph and pin on the wall. Say a digraph and splat the sound with your hand.

 

Make the game more challenging - say these words and splat the correct digraph: chip, shell, shop, chin, sheep, cheek, shock, ship, cheese, shiny, chick. 

 

 

3. The Daily Three - Creative

Remember all those minibeasts you found yesterday?! Make a mug bug hotel like this:
