Parents, staff and children enjoy Harvest celebration - 23 October 2014
This morning we had a fantastic time walking to St Gregory's Church to celebrate our Harvest Festival. This term, each class has learnt about being healthy; doing more fun exercise and making healthier food choices. Each class performed their healthy songs and poems brilliantly - well done!
Reception Class sung 'My healthy lunchbox', Year 1 performed their own version of 'Don't forget the chicken', Year 2 sung about healthy food to the tune of Scarborough Fair, Year 3 shared their knowledge about bones and finished with the song 'Dem bones' and Year 4 performed an alliterative A to Z poem.
We also had a 'guess the girth' of the pumpkin competition and sold home-grown produce to raise money for the Midland Homeless centre in Bristol.
