Have a discussion with your child, "When you grow up, how can you help the people or animals in Africa? In your green writing books, write your answer.
3. The Daily Five - Outside Time
Who was up super early and realised that I had forgotten to finish off today's activities?! Miss Packer ordered some baby caterpillars for Reception Class to watch and grow, and they have arrived. Have a look at the video on Class Dojo! I have also found three caterpillars in my garden and one caterpillar on a walk. Can you go exploring outside to find a caterpillar or if you are lucky, a chrysalis? What other bugs can you find?
4. The Daily Five - Project
We are combining patterns with art today! In Ghana,a special type of cloth called Kente is made by weaving long strips of cloth. The colours and patterns have different meanings. Cut out strips of paper (about 6cm wide) and decorate each one with a pattern of shapes and colours, like this:
If you make enough, you could try to weave them!

Share the book together - the audio will read the book for Rabbits Group and Foxes Group can read the book, using the picture clues to help with some of the more challenging words.
