1. The Daily Five - Maths

Mental Maths:  Get started by pending 10 minutes playing on the numbots.  Remember that your login is in your home learning pack or blue home school book.

White Rose Maths:  Today we are learning Counting in Fractions . 

FLASHBACK 4:  We are finding thirds again but this time with the missing denominator.  If I wrote:  1/3 of___ = 3,  I would have 3 groups of 3 counters so the total would be 9 SO  1/3 of 9 = 3.You also might like to have a cube like a dice the ready to count the edges. 

(ALWAYS PRESS PAUSE SO YOU CAN GET ‘FLASHBACK  4’ DONE IN YOUR OWN TIME.)

2. The Daily Five - Literacy

 

Daily Phonics:

Pine and Maple group:  Logon to Espresso using the student login and password (in your home learning pack).  Once you have logged on: click on Key Stage 1 - English - Phonics - Ash's phonics a-e sounds.  Watch the video and then complete the ‘Sorting graphemes’ activities.

Holly Group:  Logon to Espresso using the student login and password (in your home learning pack).  Once you have logged on: click on Key Stage 1 - English - Phonics - Ash's phonics e-e sounds.  Watch the video and then complete the ‘Sorting graphemes’ activities.

Oak Group: Read, learn and say the poem: In Trouble.  Then write down all the words with contractions.

Today we are going to carry on doing our posters.  Please read the pages on the attached document.  Then add your persuasive sentences to your poster.  I have included a toolkit to remind you what to include.
