Today you are measuring perimeter. We were so close to covering this in school before we broke up, so this word might be a little bit new to you. It's quite easy though, perimeter means the space outside of the shape. That probably seems confusing! But once I tell you how to work it out.. hopefully you'll find it easier!
To measure perimeter, you add up the lengths of each side on a shape. For example:
And that's it! The perimeter on that shape would be 20cm!
