1.The Daily Three – Maths

Mental Maths:  NUMBOTS:

You did so well last week that we are having one more week of our daily Numbots challenge!  Have a go at moving up a level this week.  Remember to have your user name and password ready.  It is in home school pack and in the cover of your blue Home School book.   https://play.numbots.com/#/account/search-school

WHITE ROSE MATHS:  We are working from the alternative planning for Week 7.  Here is the link:  https://vimeo.com/425620376

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE

Today you will need some coins or some paper to draw the coins!

At the bottom of the page I have attached the worksheets.

2. The Daily Three - Literacy

TODAY'S Phonics:

Pine and Maple group:

Today I would like you to sort the words that you found yesterday into columns in your book.  You might like to turn your book landscape. Use a ruler to draw the columns: one column for each spelling and a different colour for each one too.

Holly Group:

Today we are going to see if we can sort the two sounds using a red and a blue crayon or felt tip.  Please complete the worksheet at the bottom of the page!

Oak Group:

Today I thought you might like to have a go at this word search there are a mixture of words ending in ness, and you will see not all need to change when adding –ness as a suffix!

Look for it at the bottom of the page.

Writing Today is ALLITERATION:

What is alliteration??

Have a look at the worksheet at the bottom of the page and read about it then have a go at completing the worksheet.  Then use your alliteration phrases in sentences in your workbook (just do 4 sentences)

 3.  The Daily Three – Creative Art and poetry

Today it would be great if you could go for a walk either with your adult and see if you could create a collage of a tree using twigs, leaves, tiny flowers like daisies or even torn paper, to create a collage of a tree.

Here is one I found:

Maths worksheet, Holly Group Phonics, Oak Groups Word search and Alliteration worksheet.
