Tuesday 24th March

Good morning from Miss Eggby!

1. The Daily Five - Maths

To add to our learning on 'measurement', I would like you to make a list of any objects you like from around your house or even outside. Write next to these objects whether you would measure them in millimetres (mm), centimetres (cm) or metres (m), remember, if it is something tiny, you would use mm, something bigger than 1cm then you would use cm, and if it is something really big you would use m. If you want, you could even have a go at actually measuring these objects!

2. The Daily Five - Literacy

Finish off your story from yesterday if you were not able to. If you did finish, I would like you to practise 5 of your common exception words. You all have a highlighted sheet with the ones I would like you to practise. Write the word out 3 times and then put it into a sentence. For a challenge, can you add an adjective into your sentences?

3. The Daily Five - Outside Time

Go outside for some fresh air, look around you and write down all of the different types of nature you can see, including types of flowers, big or small leaves, trees or even bugs.

4. The Daily Five - Project

Today for your project I would like you to design your labyrinth by drawing it out onto either some paper or in your books. In your labyrinth you will also need to show where your monster/mythical creature lives.

5. The Daily Five - Reading

Log onto Oxford Reading Owl if you can and read another ebook (or finish the one from yesterday if you didn't), note down on your reading log what you have read.
