Our children demonstrated just how 'SMART' they are on Safer Internet Day 2015. We focused on the SMART rules of safer internet use:
We carried this theme through from 'smart' thinking to 'smart' dressing too, by encouraging the children to wear smart clothes.
The main theme of Safer Internet Day 2015 was making the Internet a better and safer place for everyone who uses it, especially young people. The SID website (http://www.saferinternet.org.uk/safer-internet-day/2015) was encouraging children to do this by 'sharing a smile'. Children in Years 3 and 4 did this by creating smiley pictures on our new iPads, to be shared here on our school website. We hope that they will bring a smile to your face!
In addition, children were encouraged to each make their own personal pledge stating how they promise to make the internet a better place. We videoed ourselves doing this on the iPads also, and hope to be able to post some of them for you to watch.
