Project - Inventors
The Wright Brothers
Watch the video all about the inventors, The Wright Brothers. They invented many things but are very famous for inventing one thing in particular, watch the video to find out what that is.
Then have a go at making a glider. Can you experiment to see which glides the furthest. Will changing the size of the hoops affect the first glider? How tricky are they to fly what can you add to your glider to make it fly better?
There are two videos to watch to learn how to make them:
1. Hoop glider - you will need a straw, card (or paper) and some tape
2. Cup glider - you will need 2 disposable cups, tape and elastic bands
