Online Safety whilst doing Home Learning

CEOP's educational programme ThnkUKnow have released fortnightly home activity packs which take about 15 minutes to do with your children to support their online safety at a time when they will spending more time online at home.

You can access their age appropriate packs here:

https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/Support-tools/home-activity-worksheets/

and the parent support helpsheets here:

It's well worth doing these activities at a time when we are all using the internet a lot more!

Video chat during isolation: new for parents and carers

Professionals and parents and carers have told CEOP that children are using video-chatting apps and sites to access learning and keep in touch with friends and family.

Two new Parent Info articles look at some of the things parents and carers should think about to make sure their child's experience of video chat is safe and fun:

These are historical times!

Keep a diary of what you do each day whilst at home!

Is it different learning at home? and enjoying being with your family? What new things have you learned or done?

Let's help create a Giant neighbourhood wide "I spy game"

Draw a rainbow and put it in your window at home!

Then if you go on a walk see how many rainbows you can spot!
