1. Maths

Let's have another minibeast hunt, but this time to help us with our maths! In your workbook, down the side (like a list) draw what minibeasts you think you might find. Go outside and see what you can see but this time use tally marks to count how many you see! The children have done lots of work with tallys in year 1 so they are all very good! Remember to draw your line across for 5!

 

2. Literacy

This task requires a lot of imagination! Read the story of the very hungry caterpillar or watch the video if you don't have the book. Ask the children to write their own version of the story using another minibeast of their choice!

 

3. Topic

Create a butterfly Symmetry painting. Use the video found under 'today's resources' to help you create your masterpiece!
