Friday 12th June

Yahoooo it's Friday. These are my 2 niece and nephews 3 owls all together. All different sizes just like baby owls which hatch at different times so owl babies are never the exactly the same age or size!

1.The Daily Three – Maths

Two tasks for today:

First - can you go on a clock hunt and find different clocks around your home?  Then take photographs of these or cut out pictures of clocks and watches out of magazines to make a display.

Secondly as you go through the day and do lots of different things stop for a few seconds to check the time and write down the times as you go through the day!

Mrs Gibb so far today: 

6am got up and made my bed

6.15am made a cup of tea

6.30am had a shower and got dressed

7am made my breakfast and my packed lunch

7.15am I drove to school.

7.45 am arrived at school and had a cup of coffee.

8am time to start work ………

 

2. The Daily Three – Literacy

 

TODAY'S Phonics for all group:  Common Exception Words – please practice writing 6 of the words using the attached worksheet at the bottom of the page, three times each and then use them in 4 sentences!

 

3.  The Daily Three – Fact about Owls

 

Today we are going to make a fact file page all about owls.
