Whew - almost the end of the week! 1 HELLO Year 2, I spotted blossoms on my pear tree.

1. The Daily Five - Maths

Mental Maths:  Spend 10 minutes playing on the numbots.  Remember that your login is in your home learning pack or blue home school book.

Practice Times tables:  

Secondly:  Using the link https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button  press on the Timetables button and practice your tables to 12.  If you are not sure of the answer.  Use your arrays (peapods) to show your working out in your workbook.

 

2. The Daily Five - Literacy

TODAY'S Phonics:  use your common exception words to practice them.  Practice 5 of the words on your cards each 3 times in your work book and then use them in sentences.

 

3. The Daily Five - Exercise and Outside Time

Choose two activities to do from your list of INTERESTING THINGS TO DO.

Don't forget to do your daily exercises and log how you are doing.  Draw a picture you doing your favourite exercise.

 

4. The Daily Five - Project

Bean Diary:

I do hope that you are looking after your bean plant and measuring it once a week to see how it is growing.  Keep measuring and drawing how it's changing during the holidays please!

 

 

 

5. The Daily Five - Reading and Reading Comprehension

Love Reading:

Login into Espresso website and follow the link: Key Stage 1 - English - Love reading.  Choose an extract from your own choice of book.  Write a review :  Title of book, author, did you like it or not and why, What was your favourite part of the book?  Would you like to get the whole book and read it?
