1. The Daily Five - Maths

First: Please practice you 2, 5 and 10 timestable up to 12x.  CHALLENGE: now do them randomly (out of order) and time yourself!

Secondly:  This week we are looking at fractions.  Maths Rose Hub has a set of lessons.  

Go to Week 1 Lesson 2 - https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-2/   Watch the power point and have a go at answering the questions. If you are not sure of the answer there is a set of answers for you to check at the end.

Daily Phonics:

Once you have finished writing each word 3 times from Monday, using your words in sentences. (remember: punctuation and adjectives).

 

Holly Group: 

Once you have finished writing each word 3 times from Monday, using your words in sentences. (remember: punctuation and adjectives).

 

Oak Group: 

Once you have finished writing each word 3 times from Monday, using your words in sentences. (remember: punctuation, similes and adverbs).

Easter Activities:

Complete your drawing and writing from yesterday. Now check have you used: time words, adjectives, adverbs.  If not edit your work.

4. The Daily Five - Project

Easter egg pattern prints:

You will need:  a large potato, some 2 or 3 colours of paint and some paper.BE CAREFUL - ask an adult to do this part: cut the potato in half and carve out a pattern in the potato. Then only put paint on the sticking out bits and print them on your paper.  You can make a super pattern. Have a look at the page I have made you.  Keep them ready for tomorrow's project.

Please read every day - follow the instructions to log onto Oxford Owls.  Please continue to keep a record of how many you have read using the card in your home reader folder.
